Totals as Hurricane Sally nears landfall

Thousands of Florida households are without power as Hurricane Sally nears landfall.

Hurricane Sally is expected to make landfall late Tuesday or early Wednesday as a Category 1 storm with maximum sustained winds of up to 85 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Forecasters continue to raise concerns about flooding at “historic levels” and tropical storm winds continue to spread onshore along the north-central Gulf Coast.
